As it is coming up to the end of the month I decided to do my usual look at the visitor statistics, for a site like this I use awStats. Although it is pretty basic it does provide a reasonable snapshot of the traffic.

Nice to see that unique visitors is up by around 32.5% on last month … so thanks for visiting :)

The search terms used to find me are dominated by people looking for information about two main areas.

Quantum Jumping wins by attracting 38.2% of the visitors, you can see the original post at http://trikky2.com/quantum-jumping/. I can only hope that people are searching for this nonsense for fun and not seriously interested in joining. I have to give a big thumbs up to two of the searches though, one was for ‘Quantum Jumping ???’ which got bonus points for using three question marks. The second search term really got down to the nitty gritty by just going for ‘Quantum Jumping Crap’ :)

The next most searched for entry was a bit more serious and about the possibility of a new particle being found by the Tevatron collider, the post is at http://trikky2.com/new-particle-found-by-the-tevatron/. This managed to grab the attention of 32.7% of my visitors.

Some other interesting facts that have come out of looking at the stats are :

Most visitors are from the UK ( not really that surprising ), which accounts for nearly twice the volume than from the US which narrowly beat Russia into second pace.

14 different robots made visits to the site for the purpose of index it for search engines with GoogleBot accounting for around 50% of the number of hits.

Linux accounts for 51.6% of the operating systems that visitors are using beating Windows into second place which could only manage 36.1%.

Firefox is the browser of choice making up 59.9% of users, Internet Explorer made second place but with only 19.8% of the share.
